Aloha and welcome to From Hawaii With Aloha — the home of U’i, our beloved pink ginger perfume oil that has everyone falling in love. Pronounced “oooh-ee” (not “you-ee”), U’i is the Hawaiian word for “beautiful,” and one whiff of this enchanting scent will have you saying just that.

Handcrafted with aloha right here in Hawai’i, our fragrances celebrate the beauty of the islands. In addition to U’i, we offer other beloved Hawaiian floral scents like Pikake, Puakenikeni, Tiare, White Ginger, and Gardenia — each one capturing a piece of paradise.

Our Story

Aloha!

My name is Rose, and I’m the proud owner of From Hawaii With Aloha—a locally made, locally owned company rooted in the heart of Oʻahu.

I was born and raised on the North Shore in Waialua, surrounded by the beauty and aloha spirit of our islands. Later, my husband and I made our home in Waiʻanae, where we raised our family and built the foundation of our business. That’s why every product we create carries the proud distinction of being Made in Waiʻanae.

Here in Hawaiʻi, giving lei is more than tradition—it’s a way of showing love, celebration, and connection. As a child, I would gather fresh flowers and string lei by hand, a practice that sparked my deep love for Hawaiian blooms and the scents that surround them.

In 2016, I came across Pikake perfume oil for the first time—and I was instantly captivated. I couldn’t understand why more people weren’t using perfume oils. They’re richer in scent, last so much longer than alcohol-based perfumes, and are free from harsh ingredients like phthalates.

So, when the world slowed down in 2020, I used that time to dive into research and begin crafting my own line of floral perfume oils. In April 2021, I took a leap of faith and opened a booth at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet. With just a humble banner, a simple display, and a heart full of hope, I began selling my oils —and week after week, they sold out.

Since then, I’ve continued to grow, always guided by the love and support of our community. Locals and visitors alike—young and old—have embraced our scents, and I’m so grateful.
